Το Εθνικό Μουσείο Σύγχρονης Τέχνης (ΕΜΣΤ) διοργανώνει σε συνεργασία με το Πρόγραμμα “Σπουδές στον Ελληνικό Πολιτισμό” (ΕΛΠ) του Ελληνικού Ανοικτού Πανεπιστημίου, ομιλία του γλύπτη Θόδωρου με θέμα: ΠΟΛΗ↔ΠΟΛΙΤΗΣ↔ΠΟΛΙΤΙΣΜΟΣ.
Ο σημαντικός γλύπτης θα μιλήσει στους φοιτητές και τους αποφοίτους στην Αίθουσα Προβολών του ΕΜΣΤ για τη σχέση του πολίτη με την κοινωνία και τον πολιτισμό.
Η είσοδος είναι ελεύθερη με δελτία εισόδου που θα διανεμηθούν στο ΕΜΣΤ με σειρά προτεραιότητας μία ώρα πριν από την εκδήλωση. |

The National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST) organizes in collaboration with the programme “Studies at Hellenic Culture” of the Hellenic Open University, a speech by sculptor Theodoros. The important sculptor will talk to students and graduates at the EMST screening room.
Entry is free with admission tickets that will be distributed by EMST on a first come first served basis one hour before the speech. |

Το φιλμ του William Kentridge TRIUMPHS AND LAMENTS προβάλλεται από 15 Μαΐου έως και 4 Ιουλίου 2017 σε Μουσεία Σύγχρονης Τέχνης του κόσμου της Νέας Υόρκης, του Πεκίνου, της Κωνσταντινούπολης, της Οαξάκα, του Ντουμπάι, του Τορόντο, της Λισαβώνας, του Βελιγραδίου, του Μπουένος Άιρες, του Λεόν, του Ταλίν, του Ζάγκρεμπ, των Καναρίων Νήσων, του Ισραήλ, της Αυστραλίας, της Ελβετίας, της Ιταλίας και στο ΕΜΣΤ.
Ο σκηνοθέτης Giovanni Troilo, οι παραγωγοί Andrea Patierno και Beatrice Bulgari και ο William Kentridge εργάστηκαν για χρόνια με στόχο τη δημιουργία αυτού του φιλμ που επιχειρεί να γνωρίσει στους θεατές τη διαδικασία της δημιουργίας μιας ταινίας τέχνης που γίνεται τελικά η ίδια «έργο τέχνης». Πρόκειται για την παρακολούθηση μιας επαναστατικής διαδικασίας που επιτρέπει τη βαθύτερη κατανόηση του έργου του William Kentridge.
Το φιλμ είναι στα αγγλικά, χωρίς ελληνικούς υπότιτλους.
Η είσοδος είναι ελεύθερη με δελτία εισόδου που θα διανεμηθούν στο ΕΜΣΤ με σειρά προτεραιότητας μία ώρα πριν από την εκδήλωση.

Finding its most natural location, the film will finally reach its perfect audience, in a unique event to be held between May 15th and July 4th 2017.
Directed by Giovanni Troilo and produced by Andrea Patierno and Beatrice Bulgari, in collaboration with Sky ARTE HD, RAI Cinema and Lia Rumma, the film premiered at Rome’s International Film Festival. Now the distribution process is completed with a small revolutionary element: besides the international distribution and the traditional presence in Festivals and in TV channels, the film will finally be screened in art museums.
Director and producers have worked for years in collaboration with the greatest artists and gallerists with the purpose of creating art films which become “works of art”. A revolutionary process that allows a deeper comprehension of the artist’s work, now also available to its most natural audience: the one crowding museums all over the world.
The film is in English, without Greek subtitles.
